Security For Blackberry 10

Today we are going to talk about a guide to maintain the security of your data on BlackBerry 10. This tutorial will keep you Blackberry 10 safe from somebody else that want to see or stole your Data when you did carelessness or when you lose your Smartphone. Set Device Password
You know definitely what that means. Yes, enable the Password on BlackBerry 10 Smart phones. For those of you who want to keep your personal data or if you afraid that your Smartphone hijacked by other people or friends. Follow these steps:
  • On the Home screen, swipe down from the top
  • Press Settings then Security and Privacy, and then the box will appear Words The device password
  • Set to On Device Password and enter the password you want
A message displayed on locked screen
This option  is to create a special message that will appear later on the screen every time when your BlackBerry 10 on lock position. To make it you can follow these steps:
  • On the Home screen, swipe down from the top
  • Press Settings then Display
  • And now you Customize the message that will be displayed in the display area is locked
  • Save changes


Use BlackBerry Protect

Use BlackBerry Protect in case you have lost it. If your lost BlackBerry 10, log in to your Blackberry Protect with your BlackBerry ID, with this Application you can track down your Blackberry 10 Position, restore your data or even delete all your personal data. Please follow the steps
  • On the Home screen, swipe down from the top
  • Press settings then select BlackBerry Protect
  • Set BlackBerry Protect to On position
  • Save the changes

Try Updating Passwords
This option is dependent on yourself, for me updating password is really important to keep your data safe, regularly i have it updated once a week, what about you? Decide yourself. Make it as comfortable as possible, but please remember it or it will become a disaster if you forgot it.. hehehe

Enable Media Card Encryption
Please be careful to do it. And keep in mind, media card encryption is connected to your BlackBerry 10. Encryption is the process of securing the information by making the information cannot be read without the aid of special knowledge. If you remove the media card, you likely will not see it again. Except in the first description.

Note: An encrypted media card will be inaccessible if the device is removed. Please turn off media card encryption before performing a security wipe on your device.
  • On the Home screen, swipe down from the top
  • Press Settings followed by Security and Privacy then select Encryption
  • Set Encryption Media Card to the On position
