As an example, you can opens a BBM conversation with a single Key Action on your keyboard or specific contact, maybe your significant other, or create a shortcut that opens a frequently used apps that you wanted to be open.

Kindly follow the steps below to review and customize your keyboard shortcuts to maximize your productivity whenever you are using your device.

Create a new, or edit an existing keyboard shortcut :

By System default your device includes a variety of shortcuts that I’ve listed at the end of this post but you can create your own shortcuts, or customize existing shortcuts.

1. Swipe Down from top of the Menu
2. Tap Settings followed by Shortcuts and Speed Dial

3. To create a new shortcut for a unassigned key, tap the key.
4. To Edit Press Edit Shortcut

5. To Open Application using the Keyboard Shortcut , Tap App Launch Shortcut

6. To compose a message using the keyboard shortcut, tap Quick Compose Shortcut

7. To add another type of action to the keyboard shortcut, such as composing a new note or task, locking your device, or switch notification modes, tap Other Shortcut

Deleting a keyboard shortcut

1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen
2. Tap Settings followed by Shortcuts and Speed Dial
3. Tap and hold an existing keyboard shortcut
4. Tap Delete

Blackbery Z3 A.K.A Blackberry Jakarta has a medium spesification , it does not has LTE network yet, but seem by HSDPA Network able to fulfill the browsing requirement daily activity. Powered by Qualcomm dual core Processor it will be no problem to handle multiple task parallel.

And Android application could be run on this smartphone, my suggestion is better to use this Blackberry for BBM ( Blackberry Messenger ) rather than Android OS itself, since we can utilize Android application as well.. PEACE.

Mass storage mode is one of the features that very useful on Blackberry, by this feature we can transfer file to or from PC/Laptop to our Blackberry faster, all we need is just plug in thr cable data to BlackBerry and connected to our PC/Laptop. and it will be detected automatically by PC/Laptop, almost the same as Flashdisk or eksternal HDD.

Bur some time this Storage Mode wont work as we wish, to have this problem solved, try this tips, which might be useful.

First, go to option-device-storage, make this setting applied.

Media Card Support: On
Encryption Mode: None
Mass Storage Mode Support: On
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Yes

Then make sure on your laptop or PC has been installed with the latest Blackberry Desktop Manager Software, if problem still came up, try with different PC/Laptop, still undetected, try to change the Cable Data and Memory Card. but if it can't detected too, it is time to wipe your Blackberry and chanfe the OS with the latest one, there might be a corrupted file in previous OS. but Backup your Data first.

If you still cannot fix the problem, Hardware issued may be the problem, time to change your handheld, or send it to your Distributor for fixing...Happy Weekend.

Following the release of BlackBerry OS 10.1 software update. BlackBerry Team announces additional features that will be released in the next OS update which is BlackBerry 10 OS 10.2.

BlackBerry OS 10.2 is scheduled for release in the coming month.

Here are some updated that will be release along BlackBerry OS 10.2

1. Headless apps

Headless apps will be running in the background and can be on call rather than turn up and running in the panel.

2. USB Host Capability

This feature allows you to connect USB drives / sticks to your BlackBerry devices and to transfer files.

3. WiFi Direct and Miracast

BlackBerry OS 10.2 will have Wi-Fi connectivity directly between devices rather than through a wifi router. That is, it would make connectivity features like Bluetooth, the device can connect directly. By using a system of Wi-Fi radio then transfer speeds will be much faster than Bluetooth. Can be used to connect to the video show on screen.

4. Flurry Analytics

BlackBerry will support named Flurry analytics solution that will help developers better understand the consumers who use the app that created.

5. Smart cards

Smart card support allowing aka BlackBerry 10 devices to access cards to access the building, room system that uses NFC.

6. Altimeter

Altimeter will provide an opportunity for developers to create apps that can use altitude information from the device.

7. Geofencing

Geofencing in BlackBerry smartphones will provide an opportunity for developers to create apps that can access and provide information on the location you are. Creating apps that can provide service according to your location or access control and monitoring suit your location.

8. Android Jelly Bean Support

With 10.2 BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry will be able to support Android Jelly Bean Apps. With this efficient feature, users will be able to use the BlackBerry apps from Android developers. BlackBerry gives users more choice of apps from Google Playstore.

OS v10.1.0.4561 For BlackBerry Z10, Q10, And Q5 Blackberry

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Well flexNinja and DarcyTallGuy over in the CB forums have just posted some leaked OS’s for the BlackBerry Q10, Q5, as well as the Z10 (sorry Z10 STL100-1 this isn’t for you). This is OS version 10.1.0.4561 which is a full autoloader for the Q10 and Q5. The autoloader for the Z10 is OS version 10.1.0.4561 with the radio version 10.1.0.4544.

For the Z10 it has been reported to superimpose your PIN on the screen like it has been doing for the 10.2 leaks. I haven’t loaded this on my Q10 and I don’t have a Q5 to know if it’s showing the PIN on those devices so if anyone loads this up please hit up the comments below and let us know.

Here is how you update your BlackBerry Z10 with this leaked OS.

Backup your Z10 with BlackBerry Link.
Download autoloader OS.
Turn off the Z10.
Run autoloader.exe (windows Vista 7 and 8 run as admin)
When “connecting to Bootrom” appears on system connect Z10 to PC and turn on the device.
Wait for the process to finish and phone to reboot.
The update will wipe your device, so you can either restore all the info from your backup through BlackBerry Link or just start fresh if you want.

As always make sure to backup your device before updating to the newest release just to be safe. Also remember BlackBerry Empire is not responsible for anything that may go wrong during the update process.

Have your ever been getting your Blackberry can not booting to Home Screen, It just show Blackberry or keep restarting without getting in to Home Screen. this could be happen for some reason, especially on Blackberry that running OS 7 or 7.x.x. and make you waiting for hours without showing any progress. do not be panic, try this :

Using combo wipe software could save your Blackberry. this software use to fix Stuck Boot Loading on Blackberry, especially that running on OS 7 or 7.x.x

How it works :

1. Put the Battery in
2. Connect the Micro USB cable to your PC or Laptop
3. Click tool Combo Wipe
4. First step it will make your Blackberry Nuked
5. Let is Nuked for 10 minutes
6. Then continue to step two by pressing enter
7. This step will start to fully wipe all your data
8. Then press enter to close the software
9. Then Installed your OS using Apploader or Rapido

Note : If your Blackberry asking to repair the internal memory after OS installation process complete, please do not do it, it is better to have your internal memory formatted straight away. this tools only to fix your blackberry from Boot loop, if you manage to have your Blackberry back on work again. JUST SELL IT ASAP. because soon or later the BOOT LOOP Terror will keep Happen Again and Again..
