Installed SNAP Blackberry 10.2.1 Android

SNAP Application - Recently Blackberry had released a new Blackberry Operating System 10.2.1 claimed that it can be used directly to download Android application. but it does not that easy as they said, you have to find the APK file one by one.
Let try another easy way to do it, using SNAP Application. You can download Android application easily using this. Because it has been verified by Google too

Please use and read this instruction on the way to do it :
  • Try to and installed Google Chrome
  • After Google Chrome is installed, open it up and install this extension for Google Chrome on your computer.
SNAP. Android Blackberry
Chrome Extension

  • Download the latest SNAP.BAR file to your computer, place it somewhere you that you can remember.
  • Enable development mode on your BlackBerry - Go to Settings>Security and Privacy>Development Mode. Turn the switch to the ON position. Note the IP address it lists as well, it's most commonly set to 169.254.0.1 but if different, make note of it. Also, it may ask you to create a password. If so, make one and do not forget it.

  • Take and use your micro-USB cable and plug it into your device, then plug your device into your computer.
  • Open Google Chrome and visit https://169.254.0.1/. If your IP found in development was different, replace 169.254.0.1 with the IP found there.
  • If you get an SSL error page or it says this sites security certificate is not trusted, that's fine. It's not causing any harm. Just accept and proceed. If you get a different sort of error though, like this page cannot be found or this webpage is not available, try reconnecting your device or try a different USB port.
  • Then, you may need to go to the Google Chrome extension settings and enter the correct IP address there. Generally, it auto detects it but if not you'll need to add it manually. Additionally, if you're still unable to connect, make sure your anti-virus is disabled or the app is allowed to run. This often times causes a lot of connection issues especially for Windows user
SNAP Android Views Installed Application

  • Once you have the page loaded up, enter in your device password that you created to approve access. You will then see a list of what's already installed on your device.
  • From there, you can go to the top right hand corner where it says 'Install Apps' and click on that. That will open a file explorer window for your computer, in which case you want to browse to wherever it is that you downloaded the Snap BAR file and select it.
  • Once selected, the Snap file will begin installing and you can view the progress in Chrome. When done, you will see 'result::success' indicating that all went well and the file sideloaded properly.
  •
  • And now you can now disconnect your device from your computer and we'll look at setting up Snap.
  •
  • Note that this process is applicable for any app that you wish to sideload, not just Snap. If there is other BAR files you wish to install, it can be done the exact same way. If this all a bit too complicated for you, you can make life easier and download sachesi for your respective computer. Once downloaded, plug in your device, run the Sachesi app and go to the "Install" tab. From there, drag the Snap bar into Sachesi and it will load it. I will note though, DO NOT go messing with anything else in the Sachesi app if you're not aware of what it does.

Blackberry Internet Service ?? What is it ?

BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) is an e-mail and synchronization service provided by Research In Motion for BlackBerry users. it was created for BlackBerry users without an enterprise email account on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). BIS allows you to retrieve email from multiple POP3, IMAP, and Outlook Web App (OWA) on your BlackBerry, and synchronize your contacts, calendar, and deleted items from some email providers.

When you buy your first BlackBerry device with any wireless carrier, the device will come with instructions for setting up a BIS account and a BlackBerry email address. The instructions differ from carrier to carrier, so you will need to consult your documentation to create your account.
BlackBerry Email Address
Once you create your BIS account, you will be prompted to add email addresses, and you will also have the opportunity to create a BlackBerry email address. A BlackBerry email address is specific to your BlackBerry. If you are an Telkomsel subscriber, your BlackBerry address would beusername@telkomsel.blackberry.net. Email sent to your BlackBerry email address goes directly to the device, so you should be selective about where you use it and who you give it to.
Add Additional Email Accounts
You can add up to 10 email addresses to your BIS account (in addition to the BlackBerry email account), and BIS will send email from those accounts to your BlackBerry. For some providers like Gmail, email is delivered using RIM's Push technology, and will be delivered very promptly. After you've added an email account, you will receive an Activation Server email from the BIS on your device, which informs you that you will start receiving email on your BlackBerry in 15 minutes. You may also receive an email about a Security Activation. Follow the instructions provided in the email to activate the email account on the BIS.
More Than Just Email
RIM has been adding synchronization features to BIS in the past few releases. If you are a Gmail user, you can synchronize your deleted items, contacts, and calendar. Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail users can synchronize their contacts.
Move Accounts From BlackBerry to BlackBerry
In the event that you lose or damage your BlackBerry, RIM has made it extremely easy to transfer your settings. You can log into your carrier's BIS website (refer to the documentation that came with your BlackBerry), and click on the Change Device link under Settings. Follow the instructions to Detect New Device. The BIS will transfer all of your email account information to your new device, and in a few minutes your email will be up and running.

Keep your Blackberry batteries COOL

Keep your Blackberry batteries COOL
BlackBerry battery

Do you often having your BlackBerry battery getting hot and wasteful? We have some useful tips and solution for those who often have a BlackBerry battery hot and wasteful.

There are several reason that could make your Blackberry Battery getting hot and wasteful.

1. Weak Signal Network

Why could make a weak network signal BlackBerry battery hot and wasteful? You should know, your BlackBerry device will always look for a signal, if you are weak BIS network in your area. When you conduct a BlackBerry device continuous signal then use your BlackBerry battery will heat faster and more extravagant.

The solution to overcome your BlackBerry device is minimal signal and make your BlackBerry battery hot and wasteful namely:

Use 2G network if a 3G network in the area where you live is weak. To change their 3G network to 2G, Open the Options menu > Mobile Network and change the Network Selection Mode to Manual and change the Network Mode to 2G (sorry I can not show you a picture because I'm using a BlackBerry 8520 Gemini who does not have a 3G network). I recommend using BIS carrier signal which has a strong network in the area where you live.

2. Application Running in the Background

Even more cause your BlackBerry battery is the amount of heat and wasteful of your BlackBerry application that you leave running in the background, especially BlackBerry applications that are always looking for updates. Applications are always looking for updates such as Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and other BlackBerry applications that often provide notification.

Applications are running normally be the main cause of your BlackBerry battery is often hot and wasteful. Get used if you wish to exit/close an application do not press the power button because the application is still running in the background, press the escape key or select the option to use the exit/close.

I would suggest, if applications such as Facebook, Twitter or the like if you do not use it for a long time, use the settings to Logout or only receive notifications by email, so that when you logout you can still monitor the application notification via email.

As you know, RIM has updated their Blackberry Service with Blackberry ID including, Appworld, Betazone, BBM 7 etc. so every user must have Blackberry ID to use all avalable features from RIM.

With the BlackBerry ID, you need to sign in / log in at the first time you use your new BlackBerry or when you upgrade something in AppWorld, BBM 7 or latest by other RIM services. BBID similar to the iTunes account on Apple or Google Playstore in Android. However the BlackBerry user can not sign out / log out of BBID because every new features of the BlackBerry service has been stored in your BBID account.

We have a lot of questions about how to logout from BBID due to incorrect login by a user who never uses his BBID. BBID should not be sharing because each user data stored in the BBID account.
